DECEMBER 6TH 2003 THE MARRIAGE
OF
TOSKY & SUEDE
A
Wedding Sonnet
by Hannah Pay
The
soul is an undiscovered island
Unclaimed, patiently waiting to be found
Love stakes a claim, like a flag in the sand
Known only to their bearers, hearts are bound
Two souls; united in love and made one.
Before a gathering of those who care
A love shared, under the moon and the sun
An undying affection, they declare.
The red rose imagines
idealised love
But
the petals always mark its ending
The love that is shared before us now
Knows no limits, its spirit transcending.
With vows exchanged from one to another
This
love will last, happy ever after.
