MEN MY DAD |

this is my Dad, and if I had to choose my Dad, this would be the one I
choose, he was such a giving man, always willing to help anyone, even at
an inconvenience to himself. Always there for me, and my brother.
Unfortunately he lost a long battle with cancer a while back, and died as a result, but he will always be alive in my heart, for with all departed friends and loved ones, they will always be with you until you forget them, and sadly that it when they die, and I know one thing for certain, I will NEVER forget this man, For he is, and was the greatest of all men. I have many fond memories of him, one which is pictures to the left, my 21st Birthday, the last of my birthdays he saw, it meant so much for me to have him there that day, and sadly it was one of the few days I actually told him how much he meant to me, and how much he loved me. Because of this, I consider myself very lucky, because I knew his death was coming, it was expected much sooner, but I had the chance to tell him the things we both knew, but still they needed to be said. I said I loved him, I would never forget him, and no matter what happened, he will always be my dad, always a shining example of humanity at it's best, true he did not do everything right, but he tried to, he lived each day to his best, and strived to be the best man he could be, and to be honest, I think he did one hell of a job. If I am half the man he was, then I will be proud, and know I am a good person. He taught me right from wrong, he made me believe in what and who I am, even if other people can't accept me for being me, he told me not to worry about them, for those people who can't be bothered to find out who you are, there not important, the people who will look past the surface to find out everything about you, there the ones to treasure. If you only remember one thing from this page, remember that, because it is the best bit of advice I have ever received.
