1) What is your Nickname? Lucy. My mom gave that to me when I was 3 because I reminded her of Lucy from Peanuts. It stuck. But she's the only one who calls me that. 2) Where are you from? Originally from Bakersfield, Ca. Moved to The San Francisco Bay Area for a number of years, and now I'm on my way to Los Angeles. 3) Gender? Female 4) Age? Approx if you wish :o) 30 5) Marital Status? Single and unnattached at present. 6) What is your current occupation? Photographer 7) What dreams do you have? If you have loads stick to the nicest one. My ultimate dream is to make money doing what I love, which is my photography. If that were to happen, I could freelance and have lots of time to spend with my daughter ( who has yet to show herself to the world - only 31/2 more months! ) 8) What is your favourite colour/combination of colours? I really only wear black. I know that sounds cliche, but it's true. I've been like that for 15 years and I don't think it's likely to change. It's the color I feel most comfortable in because I sort of blend in. If I must wear color ( on laundry day! ) I usually stick to red or green. 9) What is your favourite item of clothing that you own? Actually, it's a pair of camouflage pants. I can't wear them now because my belly is bloody huge. Most of my clothes are casual. I feel really uncomfortable when dressed up too much. Do shoes count, though? Because I've got a pair of Luichiny platform boots that make me smile every time I look at them! 10) What item of clothing would you most like to own? Probably a custom corset or velvet mourning coat. The coat, most likely. 11) What is your ideal look that you hope to achieve when you get all dressed up? Put together, and not sloppy. I really don't have a theme. I'm more Lydia Lunch than Switchblade Symphony. 12) What do you like seeing on the opposite sex? Or possibley the same sex, depending on which you normally take a liking to, or if you like both, give 2 answers :o)(Take this question how you like <weg>) A nice tailored suit in velvet. But then again, I really like the old-school ratty deathrock look for a guy. 13) What message would you like to send to the world? Please keep it under 100 words. Egads. I'm not really the person to be sending a message to the world or anything. I usually have no idea what I'm doing. I guess if I had to say one thing to people, it would be "Stop being so damned mean to each other!" 14) What’s your ideal night out? Dinner, wine, and good conversation with a friend. 15) What do you like most about the alt.gothic.fashion newsgroup? People are very helpful. I always seem to find out something I didn't know before, especially when it comes to crafty ideas. 16) Do you wear make-up? When I have the time to apply it, yes. 17) If so, what colours do you normally use, and what style?Usually just black Marilyn Monroe eyeliner and red lips, or heavy dark eyeshadow and liner with nothing on the lips, 'cept maybe gloss. I'm boring, I know. 21) And what style? ? I just cut it a lot shorter. It was Bettie Page style to the middle of my back. I'm letting my bangs grow and chopped my hair to my shoulders and layered the hell out of it. Think Lydia Lunch or Chrissie Hyde (Sp?), circa 1985 without the bangs. 22) Do you think it’s unfair that girls/grrls have a much better choice of clothing? I suppose I do, but then again, I don't think about it a whole lot cause I don't have to deal with it. :-) Being .....errmm......"voluptuous," however, I understand the lack of decent clothing out there. 23) What do you think the cutest thing in the world is? A Chihuahua puppy, hands down. But I'm biased. And when the little one is born, SHE will then officially become The Cutest Thing in the World. 24) Do you hate filling in pants questionnaires? No, not necessarily. Just find it a little hard to talk about myself. 25) What is your favourite item of jewellery? A HUGE oval onyx pendant with silver detail that I wear on a wire choker band. This thing is like 3" by 2". It's really beautiful and eye-catching. 26) Is there any item of clothing that you wear at any chance you get? Again, my camouflage pants. WHY am I so attached to these things? They're ugly as hell, but sooo comfortable. And I've been told they look sexy. Hrmm. 27) Is there any fashion advice you would like to pass on to any goth? Please leave the whiteface alone. That's really the only thing I don't like seeing. But then again, to each his/her own. 28) What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? shy, loving, honest 29) What appeals to you most about Gothic fashion?
