I work for the Social Services Department, seconded to a children and family centre, which is a registered charity, somewhere in my home town. I work with children under 5, their paerents and the community. My job is to help ensure the protection and emotional well-being of all children in the community I work in 7) What dreams do you have? If you have loads stick to the nicest one. I almost never remember my dreams. Which is a complete bugger, let me tell you, as I am sure they are great and I am missing out. 8) What is your favourite colour/combination of colours? Red and black. Sorry to be so goth, but there it is. 9) What is your favourite item of clothing that you own? My Gary Numan Sacrifice tour long-sleeved t-shirt. 10) What item of clothing would you most like to own? A Gary Numan Wembley Arena 1981 t-shirt. 11) What is your ideal look that you hope to achieve when you get all dressed up? I want to look like me. Like a little lost boy who discovered make-up and glitter, and is dangerously sensual because of that. Unfortunately, all I ever seem to achieve is skinny little slapper. flame wars :P 16) Do you wear make-up? Lots of it. 17) If so, what colours do you normally use, and what style? Depends on what I am wearing. Usually dark pink, purple or silver eyeshadow, purple lips, black liner, fair foundation (not white), translucent powder, nails of whatever colour makes me go 'Ooooh' when I see the nail polish in the shop. And my fingernails are short and bitten, and I *like* the way that looks on boys who wear nail polish. 18)

Black and red. 21) And what style? Gary Numan in 1980 - short, black, red streak, possibly. I had that once before and LOVED it. However, my hair is now long, and to cut it would be difficult as I have been growing it for several years now. (it grows really slowly).. so, maybe I'd have it long, like it is now, with bright red streaks running through it. Vinyl pants. 27) Is there any fashion advice you would like to pass on to any goth? Be yourself. Don't be afraid to try new ideas. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that you can do your make-up like Marilyn Manson, because, though it may look good on him to some eyes, doing that successfully is really difficult and you need a certain kind of physical look to start off with in order to not look a complete prick. Most people who try do indeed look complete pricks. Not all of them, just most. 28) What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? Passionately indifferent, y0. 29) What appeals to you most about Gothic fashion? The freedom of expression it lends itself to. The fact that goth is whatever the individual wants it to be. No other subculture has such a loose set of rules - music, style, religion, outlook - none of this is set in stone. There are people who do have a narrow opinion of what goth is or should be, but on the whole, they haven't been around long enough to quite get it.
